How it works.

A few things you might be wondering.

  • I primarily film on iPhone, using additional lenses and stabilisation to keep everything smooth and natural. I also use an iPhone gimbal and a DJI Pocket 3 for certain moments, and occasionally a mini drone where appropriate.

When capturing audio, I use a wireless microphone setup — always keeping things as unobtrusive as possible.

  • Yes, speeches can be recorded in full using a secondary camera and professional audio setup for an extra cost.

This is usually offered when a videographer is not present, to avoid duplicating equipment and to keep things seamless on the day.

  • In some cases, yes.

If there isn’t a videographer present, I can capture your ceremony in full in a discreet and considered way.

When a videographer is part of your supplier team, I focus instead on complementary content, ensuring everything works together without unnecessary duplication.

  • Of course. I work closely alongside your photographer and any other suppliers, making sure everything feels calm, natural, and easy throughout the day.

I’m always mindful of the wider team, capturing content in a way that complements what’s already being created.

  • Your photographer will take the lead when it comes to direction and posing.

I focus on capturing everything as it naturally unfolds — the atmosphere, the in-between moments, and the overall feel of your day.

I may step in occasionally for closer shots or if I feel something would translate beautifully on video, but my approach is always relaxed and unobtrusive.

If there isn’t a photographer present for part of the day, I’m more than happy to gently guide you when needed.

  • Yes — I can create a longer, more detailed reel of up to 5 minutes.

These are often more personal, including extended moments from your day and parts of your speeches, allowing you to relive everything in a deeper, more complete way.

Because of this, they’re usually kept just for you and your loved ones, rather than being shared online.
